COunseling for Busy, Overthinking Minds
Counseling, coaching, & ADHD assessments for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional regulation, and self-understanding.

Before being diagnosed with ADHD, I spent years thinking I was just bad at life.
I couldn’t seem to do things that came easily to other people. It wasn’t just about being “distracted” or “disorganized.” It was the constant feeling of being out of sync- with tasks, with people, and with myself. I know how much energy it can take just to get through the day when your mind feels like it is working against you.
ADHD does not show up the same way for everyone, and it is about more than focus. It can affect how you relate to people, how you handle emotion, how you follow through, and how you understand yourself. Therapy can help you make sense of your patterns, find strategies that actually work for you, and start creating a life that feels more manageable, more intentional, and more yours.
This work may be especially helpful for adults and professionals navigating ADHD, suspected ADHD, anxiety, burnout, procrastination, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or the frustrating gap between knowing what matters and being able to follow through.
Learn how to shift from reacting impulsively or avoiding tasks to moving with more intention and follow-through.
Understand the patterns that show up in communication, conflict, emotional reactivity, and feeling disconnected from others.
Support for planning, productivity, decision-making, procrastination, and the mental clutter that makes daily life feel harder.
Feel seen and supported as you explore how ADHD, anxiety, overwhelm, and self-criticism show up in your life.

Hi, I'm Adam.
Like so many of my clients, I didn’t know I had ADHD until I was an adult. Before that, I just thought something was wrong with me. I couldn’t focus. I was always late. I’d start something and leave it half-finished or avoid it completely. I saw these struggles as personal failures.
Getting diagnosed changed everything. It gave me language, clarity, and maybe most importantly compassion.
Now, as a therapist, I offer that same kind of support to my clients. Together, we slow things down, get curious about the patterns, and build strategies that create more freedom, not more pressure.
Whether you're curious about a potential diagnosis, managing long-standing ADHD symptoms, or simply feeling stuck and overwhelmed, I am here to help you. I offer a supportive space where you can better understand yourself and start building the tools to thrive. Reach out to see if we're a good fit.

A Practical, ACT-Based Approach to ADHD and Anxiety
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, also known as ACT. Rather than focusing only on eliminating symptoms, ACT helps people build psychological flexibility: the ability to make room for difficult thoughts and feelings while still taking meaningful action.
Together, we may work on understanding patterns, building self-trust, improving follow-through, clarifying values, and creating more flexibility in the way you respond to stress, uncertainty, and overwhelm.
This is not just about managing symptoms. It is about building a life that feels more intentional, flexible, and fully lived.
Wondering If ADHD Is Part of the Picture?
For many adults, ADHD has been misunderstood for years. It may show up as procrastination, inconsistency, emotional overwhelm, difficulty organizing tasks, or feeling like everyday responsibilities take more effort than they “should.”
I offers comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults in Oregon and Washington states. The process includes a detailed clinical interview, evidence-based screening tools, and a collaborative exploration of your history and current challenges.
The goal is not just a diagnosis. It is a clearer understanding of how ADHD may be impacting your life and what next steps may actually help.
